About the Business
Our Finance and Business Services Division oversees the department's budget and financial compliance responsibilities, its infrastructure and assets portfolio, as well as procurement and quality assurance functions, business improvement and technology and screening transformation. They provide support and strategic advice across the department regarding a range of DHS goals, systems and processes.
Role Details
The Procurement and Contract Support Officer is a role within Financial Reform and is accountable to the
General Manager Business and Corporate Services for:
• providing advice to relevant stakeholders on procurement and contract management matters and
undertake research, data collection, preparation of reports and correspondence in accordance with
Financial Reform requirements
• coordinating policies and procedures to help achieve the business objectives of the Department and
ensure consistency and currency of all directorate procedures
• managing payments and reconciliations against Disability Services’ contracts and preparing contract
management documentation
• undertaking administrative services to facilitate the delivery of business operations, internal human
resources and recruitment support for Financial Reform.
Special Conditions

• Role Status: Term up to 31/07/2025.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check,
which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the
South Australia Police
or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS,
including periodic assessment during your employment.
